| So I'm doing this to display my paintings. I haven't been painting long- just since this year [ 2009 ] to be honest. I remember my mom and my grandma used to have a lot of acrylic paints laying around the house. My grandma even does some painting for things she hangs in her house. She's by far much better than I am but I'm still learning and the best way to get better at something is to practice and keep doing it. I'm glad I finally found something that I might actually be good at, I love doing it and people accept it- always a plus. I got inspired to do this after finding some ACEO cards on ebay and thought "Hey, maybe I should try this!" So I ordered some blank cards off ebay and I'm still waiting for them to come in the mail. In the mean time I went down to my local arts and crafts store, Michael's, and bought some paint, brushes, 4" x 6" canvas panels, a paint well and a tiny wooden box- and started painting. I hope that you like them and I would really like some feedback on them. I take all forms of criticism and opinions. Soon I think I'll be setting up a store or something on ebay to make these available to buy- but I'm still trying to figure out how it works so it might be a week or two before that happens. Until then I'll just display some of the things I've done and see what people think. ^_^ |

When you get a hug, it can mean everything. For me, a hug helps you smile, even when you don't want to. It says, "it's ok, I'm here."
